When you say that you can’t play online with your Xbox although you have sufficient internet connection speed can you tell us if there were any error messages on the screen? Or did the screen just freeze? These are ways to diagnose the issue further and find out the right solution to your problem. There are instances that your Xbox can actually connect to the internet successfully but because of LIVE connection, like NAT or network address translator, it is blocking the connection you need to go live when playing. You will need to test your Xbox LIVE connection by doing steps below:
If a warning comes up please take note of that warning as it will help us to find out what proper troubleshooting steps should we take to have this matter solve. Also, I would suggest that you go toÂ

If you are currently using a wireless connection, you might also want to try the basic direct connection with a modem to find out if your device might be causing the issue blocking the connection due to some gaming ports that you might need to open with the help of the device's manufacturer. Like if you are using a router, you will need to take note of your router’s model number, and the name of the company who created it so that the manufacturer can help you with the gaming ports by opening them through the GUI page or through the Graphic User Interface Page.Â
