Case on laptop cracked, is there any way to fix?

I have a laptop about a year old, and there is a crack in the case.  Everything else about the laptop is fine.  Yes, I dropped it and it fell and landed on the edge and sure enough, there is a crack.  As I said, everything else is working but I'd like to repair it if possible, but I'm afraid to try it in fear I'll make it worse.  Any suggestions on tips for this issue?

Repairing the laptop yourself might cause more complications and problems. This is because the laptop's screen is interconnected with the motherboard though cables which might cause a short circuit if tampered with. My advice would be you should consider taking it for repair to the service center or find a technician.

If your laptop fell and hit the edge when it hit the ground, unfortunately, there’s no repair for it. You can’t find a laptop case being sold in the market, only parts and other peripherals. If everything else works fine, I guess you shouldn’t touch it. The only possible remedy you can do is use a glue; a strong glue to hold off the crack.

I’ve seen different laptop parts being sold in different stores online like the internal speakers, the keyboard, memory module, laptop LED or LCD screen, and CMOS battery like on eBay but I haven’t seen a store sell a complete laptop casing like the one you need.
