Hello I can’t add cashbook batch. Every time that I add a batch the error always pop up.
Is this failure of the Cashbook software? Or there is another reason why this error appears.
I don’t have any idea how to solve this one? I tried a lot of effort like re-installing software, but still error message appear.
Please need help.

Hi,
Please note, that the creation of new cashbook batch is dependent on General Ledger Accounts Maintenance grid, and reads from the registry of the local PC.
Sometimes a key called (frmGLCBMaint) gets corrupted or deleted, and this error starts popping up.
To resolve please perform the following steps:
Close the program on the local Pc
Click on start and run, write REGEDIT, press enter
Navigate to the key : HKEY_CURRENT_USER – Software – Softline – Evolution-Agents- relevant agent name
Delete the frmGLCBMaint key and any other key with the similar name like frmGLCBMaint-001 or frmGLCBMaint-002
Now close the registry editor, and try creating the new cash book batch

That is a possible bug in the cashbook application that you are using, and therefore you will need to fix it before it brings down your system. If you are the administrator of the system with the rights to access the backend code for that system, then you will need to access it, and then run the compiler to see if there any errors that will be noted in the code, and fix them.
But if it is a system that you purchased or downloaded from the internet, then you will need to contact the customer support from the company you bought the application from or from the website you downloaded that application, and then explain to them the problem that you are getting. They should be able to help you fix it.
