I have the latest version of CCleaner 3.03.1366 installed on my computer. Unfortunately, I am getting an error just like with the previous versions.
When I select the tools option, it would show the date of the installation as one day older than the actual installation.
For example: On February 5, 2011 I installed the application but on CCleaner it would show that the application was installed on February 4, 2011. It is confusing me and I would like to have this fixed for me to track my applications correctly.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?
CCleaner 3.03.1366 installation time error
If that is a new installation of the software then I think there is something wrong with your system and not with the software you are installing.
Basically, if you’ll going to install something on your computer, the system is going to be modified by the installation and a fresh set of settings and configuration will be copied and installed on the machine.
But I think this is not what happened on your computer. You should check your computer first for any sign of infection. It’s possible that a malware is causing this behavior in your new software.
Update your antivirus then run a full system scan on your entire machine. If you are using Microsoft Windows on your computer, be sure to check the folder System Volume Information which is located in the root of every drive.
This is a hidden system folder so make sure to change the options to Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) in the Folder Options of the Windows Explorer.
Try reinstalling the software after the virus check.
You should also check if the present version of the software is still compatible with your operating system.
