Hello Experts,
Working in an educational institution, my job is in the computer lab. Students often bring some Disc to copy their project works, doing this for long time. Compact Disc is burnt regularly in the lab, but when I tried with DVD problem popped.
The disc is empty, clean and I formatted the disc, still not able to burn. I tried it in different system and different operating system too. Nothing is working out. Experts I am waiting for help.

Burning error occured
An error occured while burning the disc. Most likely the disc is not usable. Usually these errors happen if the inserted media is not compatible to the drive or of poor quality.
(devNTSPTI_IO_Error) Could not write to Disc (LBA: 52864 Length: 32).
SCSI Pass-through Interface I/O Error. – 0xFF045D
CDBurnerXP error occured while writing the disc
If you normally burn the usual CD or the CD-R disc successfully then there should be no problem with your optical drive. The usual CD-R disc can be burned on a standard CD writer drive. But if you are going to burn a DVD disc or the standard DVD-R disc, you need a different kind of optical drive higher than the usual CD writer you are using that can handle DVDs.
What I mean is if you are going to burn a DVD-R, you need to do it on a DVD writer and not on a CD writer because it is one hundred percent not supported. So you need to check again if your drive or the optical drive of your computer is a CD writer or a DVD writer.
If it is only a CD writer then it is only limited to burning CD-Rs. But if you have a DVD writer, you can burn both CD-R and DVD-R discs. If you find out that you only have a CD writer then you need to purchase a DVD writer so you can burn DVDs on the computer.
