Hi,

I have started to use Time Warner Internet on my Lenovo notebook. Why does my IP address change if I attach a Lenovo router?

Hi,

Your IP address gets changed if you attach a Lenovo router because the router depends on its MAC address to generate the IP address. The IP address of the router will be leased to MAC address until its IP address is released according to the hours provided. The Lenovo Notebook will have a better execution compared to the router because its IP address is already available and can be recognized.
