Change the names for computer

Hi,

I want to change the name of my computer. Please suggest me how can change the names for computer. Please send me the step wise procedure for change and give the new names for computer.

Change the names for computer

Hi Natanne Lopes,

 

If you’re using windows7, right click my computer, properties and then select advance settings and select the computer name tab and write the name that you want to.

Change the names for computer

Hi Dear,

There are many reasons to change the name of your computer. It can be a bit of a difficult task for a beginner, but it’s not as complicated as you might think. Here’s a simple procedure for it:

1. First right click on the 'My Computer' icon and then choose ‘Properties’ by clicking on it.

2. Then click on the ‘Computer Name’ tab seen on the upper side of the Windows screen.

3. Here comes a ‘Change’ button. Simply click it and enter the name you want, on the editable region.

4. Finally click the ‘OK ’ button.

5. Changes will be in effect the next time you start the computer.
