Changes in Microsoft’s certification program

 

 

Hi there,

Microsoft recently made changes to its certification in order to maintain their market relevance as the industry switched to cloud computing. That is why the Microsoft Certification is now more focused on broadening skills and refining skills required to build solution on-site or on cloud computing platform. The restructuring of the Certification program ensures that IT professionals and developers who hold the certification are up-to date when regarding to continuous evolution of technology.

The titles for various certifications have also been changed, but that does not mean that the existing certified professionals are affected in any way. On the contrary the existing certification are still valuable in the market and will remain valuable as long as companies are using the technologies covered in the existing certifications.
