Changing the icons and modifying the fonts on computer’s desktop

I want to change the icons and modify the fonts on my computer’s desktop. It looks like the images, fonts and icons displayed on my desktop are from Mozilla Firefox. I wish to have a Mozilla Firefox’s system icon tray automatically once QuickLaunch was turned-on.

How will I do that? Also, I want to use a number of different fonts, images and icons for my desktop.

I thought it was easy, but it is complicated.

Please help me.
