The iPod is a multilingual and can be set to display and use one of the many languages it supports. If you’ve accidentally chosen the wrong language for your device, by simply resetting the iPod may cause it to forget the present language it is set on. When resetting the iPod, always disconnect it from the computer. But if it is presently connected to iTunes, you should eject the iPod from within iTunes instead of resetting it.
