Cheaper storage devices that have up to 8 gigabytes capacity

Aside from USB Flash Drive, what are the other plug and play storage device that you can use in computers and laptops that have a capacities up to 8 gigabytes and can be bought in a cheaper price?

I would tell you micro SD but I would still recommend you to use flash drives because they are more handier that other storage devices and for what I know they are already the 3rd cheapest (lowest price of a brand) storage for your files I think the number 2 is the SD cards and number one is the dual layer disk, Please consider something on your storage, If would still recommend flash drive because of its life last more longer than these things if you have taken properly care on your flash drive and there are more flexible than others.
