Hello, I’m a user of Windows 8. I love watching videos and listening to music. But, the in-built media player of my PC ‘Windows Media Player’ does not support many file formats. I have heard of the VLC Media Player for Windows 8. What is it?

Choosing the VLC Media Player for Windows 8 as a media player.

You are not alone in this problem. Windows Media Player doesn’t support a lot of file formats. Most users go for an external media player and VLC Media Player for Windows 8 is a common and good choice. VLC Media Player for Windows 8 is an open-source and free multimedia player which nearly supports all the formats. It’s completely safe and very easy to download. It is not a heavy software so you will not face any performance issues.
