I have blocked one of my print heads and wanted to clean the print head so that I can print in black. the problem is the accessibility of the print head, what solution is suitable for this job and how long before the head resumes normalcy? How can I prevent such a problem in the future?

Make sure the printer is on but not printing, and that the black and color ink out lights are off.  Also make sure paper is loaded. You will need to print test pages.

On your computer you need to find the Epson 660.  To find it go to your Start button and click it. Then click on Devices and Printers. Right click the Epson 660 icon.  In the dropdown menu select Properties and click the Utility tab.  Click the Head Cleaning button.  Follow the instructions on the screen.

Cleaning takes about one minute and make sure you never turn off the power during this process.  When the cleaning cycle is finished, you will need to run a nozzle check.  Click Print nozzle check pattern.  If the pattern looks ok then click Finish.
