Hello,

During the install of REDmote this error appears and stops my install. The installer is ok because it was used before by a friend of mine and he didn’t had problems. Can anyone help me please to fix this one ? Why the installer is not working on my PC ?

It seems like you are using a 64-bit Microsoft Windows. If this is the case, make sure the application supports x64 Microsoft Windows. Normally, on higher operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 7, you can install x86 applications on x64 Windows 7 because the operating system runs the application in compatibility mode. But this is not always the case.

Sometimes, it still depends on the program especially if the application is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions then you can’t use it on the wrong platform. If what you are installing is the REDmote firmware upgrade, try downloading REDmote 8.0.13 Firmware. It requires Camera Firmware 5.1.6 to work. REDmote is a device that lets users wirelessly navigate through the menu settings and then either start or stop their DSMC camera.

You can also consult your friend if the problem continues so you can better verify the cause of the problem and also to compare your systems.
