How can you be sure that storing your personal data on cloud based services can be safe against internet fraud? Are there ways for users to protect and control their personal data on a cloud based model? What are the most common cloud security issues you encountered? Replies will be highly appreciated. Thank You!

Cloud Security over Personal Data
Hi Akris,
When storing data in cloud computing, there are best practices that one is required to follow to ensure safety and security of their data. Since data has left your firewall and entered the network perimeter then it is subject to risks like fraud as you mentioned in the question. To be safe, methods of secure data storage and cloud backup which include encryption, data loss prevention technology and methods of including cloud engagements in disaster recovery and business continuity planning should be used.
The biggest issue that I would say is accompanied with cloud computing is the secure protection of data.

Hope this helps.
