CloudFTP is a pocket wireless adapter. What is the average range where it can detect a WiFi connection? Will the distance affect in transferring the file?

CloudFTP Turns Any USB Drive In Cloud Storage

IcloudFTP,

 

This device can store data on the hard disk with which WiFi hotspot is attached, it works same as other WiFi devices do e.g terms of distance and quality of the transfer. Its coverage depends on area, if you are in an open area then its coverage is about 100 meters and if you are in some place where some hurdles are then it will take 50 meters.

 

Regarding protocol no surprise is used to communicate, indeed this is FTP. So, by using web application or any application that offer to support this protocol can access your data. CloudFTP can be used as handy on the road and you can use it completely independently. 

 

It can be used to synchronize your data on services like Dropbox, icloud, Google drive and box.net.

 

A file system like FAT32, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, EXT2/3/4, exFAT, this device is compatible. 

 

It has a range of 5 hours, weighs 109 grams, has a USB port and an LCD screen for displaying network information and features an ARM9 processor.
