“CLOUD”Y With A Change Of Database
Simply put, Cloud Computing is accessing someone else’s system in order to read or write data. Before Cloud Computing, people used CDs, Floppy Disks, Hard Disks or Flash Drives to store their data. But due to the physicality of the device, if you lose it, you also lose the data.
These circumstances led to the evolution of this concept called Cloud Computing. All the data is stored in high-level servers like below:
So the main advantage is that you get to access required data from throughout the world very easily.
Cloud Computing generally offers services on the Internet. Three kinds of services are offered:
1. Platform as a Service(PaaS): PaaS providers and vendors include Hewlett Packard, AZURE, ORACLE etc.
2. Software as a Service(SaaS): Applications are licensed on a subscription and are centrally hosted.
3. Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS): This refers to the online services from the detail of infrastructure such as-location, security, back-up, data partitioning, scaling etc.
