What is the advantage of using Microsoft Access vs. Excel? Can I download Access from the internet? What kind of differences and similarities do they share? 

I'm currently using excel to list a stock of products, and tracking sales.

>>You wish to run primarily calculations and statistical comparisons for your data.

You can use Microsoft Access in the following situations:

>>If you require a relational database which consist multiple tables.

>>When you need to add more tables in the future.

>>If you have a large amount of data.
