Compatibility issue with ECM-CG50 microphone and HDR-CX410 Handycam accessory shoe

Hi everybody,

I own Sony HDR-CX410 Handycam and recently bought an ECM-CG50 microphone for that one. But somehow it works with hadycam.

The microphone holder of ECM-CG50 microphone is not getting fit with a Handycam. I am not having the list of compatible microphones for this Handycam. I would like to know if anybody has any information about this.

Please can anyone help me to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for your help!

An accessory attachment to solve this problem can be acquired inexpensively from many vendors. Seek out film and photography suppliers for such an accessory. If you would like something specifically for your device, consult the manufacturer website for suggested compatible accessories. You can also perform a search on a vendor website for accessories compatible with your device.
