Hi experts,
I am using a VMware Workstation 7.1.4 build-385 536 on my computers and its working running perfectly with windows XP professional. I have another computer with a Ubuntu operating system, I installed it but it’s not working. I cannot sign in to my account, and even the mouse stops working. Do you think it’s a compatibility issue? Please help because I am changing my Operating system to Ubuntu. Any help
Thanks

Compatibility issue on my Ubuntu Operating System
Hello Akisu,
The reason why couldn’t sign in your account Ubuntu it’s because some information you input during installation was not been noted or have neglect the important one which is the username and password. In installing Ubuntu you must really complete the data given because this operating system is really strict in accessing or adding new programs. When it comes to terminal command the username and password is needed to precede desired command type. We advised you to install the Ubuntu again and remember the username and password.
Compatibility issue on my Ubuntu Operating System
Hello,
This is not a compatibility issue. Try to reinstall it with all the details correctly submitted. Once you are done you should be able to sign in. Go to control panel mouse settings and change the input preferences as shown in the picture. If this does not help with the mouse problem then try to change the resolution (set some low resolution). If it still does not help then perhaps the version you are using is not meeting the requirement for the python upgrades.
