Hi! I am having a problem with my computer. Whenever I play any game from the desktop, the computer becomes freeze suddenly and the screen becomes blue. I am not quite sure with the problem. But, I think I may have to do something with CPU. Here is the configuration of my PC: ATI Radeon HD 4670; 1GB GDDR3 memory; 800MHz; and a core clock of 750MHz. Your assistance to resolve the problem would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Computer becomes freeze when I play any game from desktop
Hello Greeshawn,
The problem here is certainly with your RAM capacity. 1 GB RAM is a very small memory capacity to successful do gaming because most games require high speed performance of the CPU. And since your memory is so little, the CPU speed that is needed for gaming is not being attained and therefore causing the computer to freeze.
The RAM capacity that is required for gaming is about 4 GB and more and therefore I will advise that you upgrade the RAM capacity of your system to this level so as to use it for gaming.
Hope this helps.

What you have provided are only the specifications for your video card only. Please tell us about your entire computer's specifications like the RAM installed, the CPU being used, operating system installed, etc. From what you described, the computer froze and the screen became blue. I take it you got a blue screen error? If it happens again, kindly take note of the error code, it starts with 0x000000 then the last two characters would contain either a number or a letter. BSODs have a number of causes, it could be because of a driver, your hardware or the software that you were running. In your case, it is possible that the game that you tried to run crashed the computer. Try uninstalling then reinstalling the software and see if it helps. If not, we need to be able to have a look at the BSOD error code to isolate the problem further.

Hello Greeshawn,
This is not a big problem. It seems like you are playing the game on an older PC, which means that your computer has low RAM, CPU Speed and VGA Memory. For high resolution games, the VGA card must be a high speed to run smoothly. The next step is to check the RAM Memory, it must be increased in order to play higher games on your computer. I hope this helps you understand. Thanks.
