I am trying to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 but getting fail to install this because of this error message which you can see in the below attached image.

Setup has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. The following blocking issues must be resolved before you can install Microsoft visual C++ 2010 x 86 redistributable setup software packages.

There are two methods to resolve this issue

Method 1

• I had this issue personally. It appears due to the detection of an earlier version of Microsoft Visual C++ in your system.
• What you have to do to update all previous versions of Microsoft Visual C++ to SP1 in your system.
• After that install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010.

Method 2

• If it still causes a problem in Windows 7.
• Try to set up XP virtual machine on window 7.
• Then install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 on XP. It will surely work for you.
