Hello. I just installed a new trackball on my Windows Vista portable computer but since then, there seems to be an issue between the trackball and the touchpad. They are having conflicts and I want to know which tool is best to use and how I can resolve this issue. Thanks.
Conflicts on using Trackball and Touchpad on Windows Vista
Since there is conflict using booth device at the same time, why not try disabling the touchpad instead. Since the trackball might be of better use than the touchpad.
Go to Start Menu
Click Control Panel.
If it is in Category view, click Printers and Other Hardware.
Click Mouse > Device Settings tab > Settings.
Modify the touchpad setting then click Ok.
If it is not possible to disable the touchpad under Control Panel, try disabling the device under Device Manager. If your touchpad is using a software such as Synaptics, click the Start Menu then type Synaptics on the search bar then try modifying the device there.
