Confusing in crystal reports excel command

Hello everyone, this is my first time to make crystal reports excel command and I am having a bit of a trouble. My problem is that, one of the columns in my report are actually purchaser codes and I still had to use alpha fields with those, in this case, Crystal got confused. I tried many different ways of formats but nothing worked.  Any links or any suggestions you could give me to make me finish my report? Please. I would really much appreciate it.

Confusing in crystal reports excel command

Hello,

I think I can help you. I could have used the texted formulas (text (cell, 0) where the zero keeps the decimals out).

I could then keep the formulas at the edge of the data and not change the sheet to values. If you are using Office 2007 data tables, the formulas may copy up and down as needed depending on the new data.

If it cannot work please inform me. I hope to give you more suggestion.
