I wanted to make find out if the new I pad6 supports ftp service that can enable easy sharing of photos, movies etc? Do you need an application for this? what wold be the ideal application that can support this including the authentification service that can enable a secure log in?

Hello,

 

There is no special networking required to share and access files over networked storage with the setup you have described. You have many options for this. You can simply use cloud storage that is password-protected or you could establish your own servers. There are other variations of this, but they do not differ very much and the devices you use for access make no difference. The main OS being used to establish the server system does not matter either. Utilize a search engine to explore your options.
