I would like to know the process of how external clients can connect through IP in my VMware. Beneath my Snow Leopard is my TD13 Express running in VMware. Is it about the VMware settings or in a local sandbox perpetually?

In VMWare 4.5 and lower you cannot use this option. This option is enabled in VMWare 4.6 and above versions. You can use this from PCoIP connection from outside firewall.

Between host and guest the communication is possible by configuring  the settings of the network and adding a virtual network card . There are a few effective ways that can be done. First you can get an external network connected with the host. While adding bridged  to the virtual guest, a virtual network card must be added. It’s same as participation of any other hosts which has no external connection with the network. If not, host-only guest can be added a virtual network card, If  keep on  the  guest receiving  IP settings via the VMWare DHCP server which helps the particular virtual network.

Utmost thing you and your guest/client should be in same network or should be permissible inside your firewall rules. Post granting permission to client , client machine can access your VM. Also inside virtual machine settings you have to follow following steps :

1. Select Hardware

2. Then Network Adapter

3. On right hand pane you need to select option host only

save the changes , and hope it would work..

Thanks !!!
