Connecting Blue Ray to DVD home theater

Hi,

Is there a way to connect a blue ray/media streamer to a speaker which is connected to a DVD home theater system? I want to try it with my home theater. I need to understand if it can be done and how Please advice.

Connecting Blue Ray to DVD home theater

Hello Richard. That would be possible if your dvd has a compatible connector to the blue ray/media streamer. Then the blue ray/media streamer will act only as the source of the movie, music, or whatever file you are going to use. Then the DVD will play on the LCD TV and will also get the sound from the media streamer and send it to the speakers. That would depend on how advance your dvd player is.
