Connecting my TV with Mac PC via HDMI

I connected my TV with my Mac PC via HDMI connection. The problem is, I can only see the mouse cursor,  the wallpaper and nothing more. Did I miss something on my settings? I need assistance please.

Hallo Carl,

Is this the first time that you are using the TV after you installed it or you have been using it for a while now? If it is the first time, then you should click on the TV icon on the desktop for it to open. You will need to surf for the channels that are within the range of the TV and store them so that next time you will just need to choose whichever channel you want to watch without going through the surfing process again.

But if you have been using the TV for a while and it has stopped working now, then you should check the settings under the TV's property settings and change what may have been altered that is causing it not to function.
