Convert doc to PDF command opensource tool?

Does any know of a convert doc to PDF command open source application or tool?

I want an application that perfectly converts the document from PDF to word and vice versa which I can also call using the command line.

Please give me suggestions.

You can try to open the document and then save it  as PDF (adobe reader should be installed).

But that is only applicable for doc.- pdf conversion. I
