Hello Experts! I recently bought a new iPhone but my current location does not have a wireless router. Is it possible to get the ethernet connection that comes out from my computer and then plug it in any bridge or cable back to my computer so I can still have my wired connection or some sort of plug and play that I can use for both my iPhone and PC. Thanks.
Convert a Wired Ethernet Connection Into Wireless
Hi Kenny,
The simplest way to create a wireless connection to share internet between your phone and computer, without even having to by a router, is to turn your computer into a hotspot. You can create a hotspot on your computer, assuming it has a wireless adapter, by using software. I recommend you download and install connectify, software that would convert your computer to a wireless hotspot.
Follow these simple steps and you will have a hotspot that you can use to connect your phone to the internet:
1.      Start connectify
2.      Enter the details, name password, security mode (choose the access point, WPA2-PSK).
3.      Choose the internet connection to share i.e. your local area connection
4.      Start the hotspot and you can now connect your iPhone to the internet.
