I was previously running ConvertXtoDVD version 5.0.0.36 but I went ahead to install version 5.0.0.37 after uninstalling the previous version. I have been using Windows 7 64 bit. When executing the setup for the new version I got an error as shown below. I would like to know what experts think about this error.

ConvertXtoDVD beta version 5.0.0.37 setup error
VSO ConvertXtoDVD 5.0.0.37 does support Windows 7 64-bit but according to some Mac users, this video conversion tool is more stable when run on Mac using Wine than when using it on a 64-bit Windows 7. So it does mean that your error is the result of its being unstable on 64-bit editions than when running on 32-bit platforms.
VSO ConvertXtoDVD supports both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. When installing the program, make sure you are logged in as administrator. A similar error will also appear in case you are using a limited account.
To make sure you run it as administrator, right-click on the installer then select “Run as”. Pick Administrator then click OK. See image.
To install it properly, restart your computer then run the installer using the “Run as” method. VSO ConvertXtoDVD 5.0.0.37 is the older version.
