Could not load file or assembly

Hi guys,

I was updating my video drivers and ATI catalyst and also ended up having to install a new version of the NET framework.

I rebooted then when it got to his desktop the ATI CCC did not run.

Then I got this error message;

Could not load file or assembly ‘CLI.Implementation, Version=2.0.2861.39793,

Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=90ba9c70f846762e’ or one of its dependencies.

The system cannot find the file specified.

                                                                                                         OK

I have absolutely no idea what the error warning means and have no idea how to solve it.

I need someone to explain to me in not too painstaking details so that I can figure what to do next time I get the problem.

Could not load file or assembly

ATI Catalyst sometimes get pop up error when we install/upgrade NET Framework, but this error is harmless. ATI Catalyst usually got problem with MOM.exe, CLIStart.exe and CCC.exe file. These file aren't need by your driver. In your images, this show how that you have error from CLIStart.exe. To stop this error use these simple tips:

Open Taskmanager, select Processes tab and disable CLIStart.exe. Or you can disable this program from your start up manager, by click on Start, Run, then insert msconfig in the Run box. After that, select Selective Start Up then disable CLIStart.exe there.
