Could not open the video part of the file

Hello,

I often use favc to convert the movie into DVD but I keep the files so that I may work with TMPGEnc 3.0 Xpress. When I try to open these files using TMPGEnc an error occurs as you can see below. Do you have any idea the cause of the this error? I could find the resolution to fix this issue. Please suggest me to handle this problem. Thanks.

Could not open the video part of the file

D:History.Channel.Modern.Marvels.Bunkers.XviD.mp3.NuclearAge.avi

Only the audio part can be opened.

Could not open the video part of the file

Stream video that you mentioned (. avi) has audio and video too into it and it`s not separated. I don`t know if you use .Avi format or other but I think that TMPGEnc can`t use this format. Try to convert the files that you have into a full movie file like .Mpg format and I think that it will work.
