I have a MAC OS 10.4.11 and have been getting an error message that I cannot open a movie file.
I am not sure why does this error pops up. This error comes up, whenever I try to go to the display preferences.
The movie could not be opened.
Operation could not be completed. (OSStatus error 23132.)
P.S. The above errors do not exist on techyv.com.
I tried reinstalling it from scratch, but the error message comes back again.
Any help on this issue is appreciated.

Could not play movie on my MAC OS X
This error message appears, when you try to play DRM-protected video content in QuickTime. To solve this problem, make sure you have the latest version of both iTunes and QuickTime installed.
If you have the latest version of iTunes and QuickTime installed, and are still not able to play your DRM-protected content, follow 2 steps:
-
In iTunes, choose Store > Deauthorize Computer (your computer needs to be connected to the Internet).
-
Click OK.
Hope this helps you.

Could not play movie on my MAC OS X
If this is the first time you encountered this problem, try restarting the computer then try playing the movie again. If it still doesn’t work, try playing a different video file and see if it plays it. If it plays, then the problem is with the video file.
You should check the other video formats that your media player supports. You can find it in the settings under file types. Next after getting all the file types that the media player supports, try converting your movie to one of the supported file types. You can do this by downloading and installing a video converter application.
There are lots of video converter tools that can be downloaded from the web. Try visiting http://www.imtoo.com/ then download the right video converter for your computer.
