How to solve the error " could not start http ssl service on local computer error 126 " i am working in Windows Server 2003

Could not start http ssl service on win ser 2003

This problem occurs as a result of changing registry sub key.

To solve this you need to  re-create the expandable string value of the registry sub key(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionComponent Based ServicingVersion).

First, check whether the registry sub key exists. Start Registry Editor, and then browse to the sub key mentioned above. If the sub key is not there you have to re-create it.

This could happen for many reasons. But mostly this can be solved with a simple reboot. First of all try rebooting your system. If this doesn’t solve your problem,
