Could not verify server address of Stanford University

This error appears when the server isn't properly configured to accept incoming connection requests. The solution to this problem is:

1. When the above menu appears, tap "Manual setup" and then choose "Web Interface"

You may also enter a description of your choosing in the field titled "Description".

2. Tap "Next".

3. You will be presented with a screen where you can enter your login information

Once you do so, the list of applications will appear and you will be able to run them on your iPad.

If you are referring to “ACES” or “Access Control Enterprise System”, the Stanford University is using Lenel OnGuard 2008 Enterprise and the Citrix presentation server environment delivers client access. Mac and PC users can access the application by going to this link: myapps.stanford.edu. But before you do that and be able to authenticate, you need to request for your account to be created.

You will not be able to access this link if you didn’t make a request to create your account. To request for your account, go to HelpSU Request to submit a request. When making your request, make sure to provide your First Name, Last Name, SUNet ID, and the Segment you are requesting access to.

If you don’t know the Segment, you need to request this from your manager.
