I am a starting entrepreneur and I want to create an information system that is reliable and could be solid. I have heard that SAS integration technologies are one of the best in giving a solid information management. Given the fact that I am a newbie in this area I would like to set up a sas integration technologies exe to run on my desktop. Could someone walk me through on how doing this?
Could sas integration technologies exe be able to run on desktop PC?
Yes you can install the SAS integration technologies on your desktop but that should be a minimum configuration Pentium 4 with 512 MB RAM and disk space of 20G free . Just insert the DVD in your DVD drive and click on the setup.exe then select language and follow the instruction on-screen. At this point, it will ask you to either install SAS or to create a new depot. Choose to create a new depot. Follow the on-screen instructions and insert the other DVD’s when it asks for them.
Once you have created the depot named C:SAS Software Depot, go into that folder and click on “Setup” That’s the same file, but it may be displayed either way depending upon whether you have Windows show you filename extensions.
