Creative Cloud Application Throws Acrobat Error 16. Someone Having The Same Problem?
When the user starts the creative cloud application, you will get a configuration error (Error 15 or 16) that asks the user to uninstall or reinstall the product. The error occurs when the permission to application folders is set incorrectly.
The solution to fix the issue is shown below:
OS 1: Windows 10
Follow the described steps to fix the issues:
Step 1: Open File Explorer and click on the View tab, then select Hidden items.
Step 2: Go to Adobe PCD or the SLStore folder, and choose properties.
Step 3: Click on the Security tab and give Full Control to the Administrator, System, and Users: Read and Special permissions.
Step 4: Click on OK to close the Permission dialog box.
Step 5: Click on Advanced in the Properties dialog box.
Step 6: Select Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object. Click OK, then click on YES.
Step 7: Click OK to close the folders.
For all OS, the user has to follow the following steps and give permissions to PCD and SLStore.
