This main cause because of this trouble happens when the steam side and the path that’s in use is not correct.

1. Go to the installation directory that contains Far Cry 3. For example, “D:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFar Cry 3bin”.

2. Create a shortcut of “farcry3_d3d11.exe”.

3. Right-click on the shortcut >> Properties.

4. In the “target” field, append “-uplay_steam_mode -language=English -steam_mode” after the quotes.

5. Now launch your game with this shortcut.

No more problem will be this time.

The “farcry3_d3d11.exe” file is probably the Direct3D component of the game. If you say the file exists in the game’s installation folder then it is possible that the file is corrupt. Try to uninstall and reinstall the game to fix any corrupt files. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.

Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Far Cry 3 game among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install Far Cry 3 again then see if it works.
