Hi,
When i am helping customers to troubleshoot some problems with their APC Smart-UPS 3000 RM I could not login to the web line to take data from the logs.
When i am trying to login by using the web interface I got a error message saying that someone else is currently logged in as shown in the below example image. I need to solve this error.
Please help me to solve this.
Thanks.
Error: Someone is currently logged into the APC Management Web Server.
Currently Someone is logged keen on the APC administration Web Server
Hello Anna,
To resolve that issue, you will should reboot the management card by pressing in the small reset button on that is found on the front part of the card. When doing the reboot, the UPS will shut down any existing open connections, and you should not get that message anymore after that.
But if you continue to getting the error message after rebooting, then you should go ahead and make sure that there are no active serial connections to the card for the problem may be as a result of local serial connections taking priority over all other connections.
Another thing you can try doing is tel-netting into the device and after that log out.
Doing that will reboot the web interface, after which you can be able to log into the web interface.
Regards,
Carl

To solve this problem, try to connect via telnet to the UPS and do this method:
Â
1. Enter User Name and Password.
Â
Â
2. Under Control Console, Press 3 to select "System" and press Enter.
3. Under System, Press 4 to select "Tools" and press Enter.
4. Under Tools, Press 1 to select "Reboot Management Interface" and press Enter.
5. A confirmation will display, just confirm by selecting "Yes".
Â
The device will now reboot and check if the error is gone. By doing this method, it does not affect the UPS performance. It will just restart the management interface.
