Cursor doesn’t show up in the email text body in mozilla messaging

Hello,

When I use the mozilla messaging service I'm having an issue. I can't access the email text body because the cursor does not appear when I attempt to type anything. So I can not respond to emails or forward any either.

Hi there Marjorie B Danek,

 

The very first thing you should do is to update your software and try to keep it up to date in the future. This is a known bug that is resolved in the newer versions of the Mozilla products. However, if from any reason you can't update, there is a simple workaround – you just have to change the composition setting from HTML to Plain Text. To do so, open the account settings by clicking on the account name. Select 'Composition and Addressing' and uncheck the 'Compose message in HTML-format' box. Hit the save button and after a simple restart thing should start working again.
