Customize thumbnails by CTRL + MouseWheel in Windows 8

Hello experts,

I was really peculiar on the new features that Windows 8 has. I tried the following:

– Resize the thumbnails in Explorer while holding the Ctrl key and the my mouse wheel.

– Modify the thumbnail sizes.

My query is, when modifying the size, can I do it permanently? Can I resize it from the folder only or all?

Hi,

   First of all this is not really a very new feature it was also available in Windows 7.

Secondly the answer to your question is that yes! The folders can be permanently changed to the size you like or you make it.
These changes can be reverted back when needed.
But this option is only available for all folders that are present at a particular location.
