Hi, I need a help, How to view PCX files in the Linux operating system? Is there any specific software to view the PCX file please send the download link to download that software. And send some helping tutorial explanations for how to use that software, Special features, Main advantages and disadvantages.

CX files in the Linux operating system

Hi there,

To view PCX files in a linux operating system, your best bet is to install GIMP. You can download it here https://www.gimp.org/unix/ The user manual is here https://docs.gimp.org/2.8/en/

 

Gimp has many features like-

 

1) Customizable interface.

 

2) Photo enhancement.

 

3) Digital retouching.

 

4) Hardware support and File formats.

 

Disadvantages from my perspective are:-

 

1) Managing layers is not easy compared to Photoshop.

 

2) Creating text effect is difficult.
