I just got my new Studio 17 with Windows 7 Home Premium. My problem is, I can't play Blu-Ray DVDs when I connect it to my HDTV through HDMI connection. I tried to check if my HDTV is a HDCP compliant and yes it is with 4 HDMI inputs. I tried to uninstall and re-install PowerDVD but still, the same error incurs. How can I be able to fix this problem?

Cyberlink PowerDVD is not able to play the protected content on your digital output device. Switch to an analog output (VGA, D-Sub) and then try again,

Cyberlink PowerDVD Unable to Play Blu-Ray DVDs
When using CyberLink PowerDVD to play Blu-ray movies, the first thing you should know is whether your version of CyberLink PowerDVD can play Blu-ray discs or not because not all versions of CyberLink PowerDVD support Blu-ray disc. Like for example the version I have, CyberLink PowerDVD 7.0, which is bundled in CyberLink DVD Suite.
This version that I have doesn’t support playback of Blu-ray discs even if I have a Blu-ray drive it will still not work. The solution, in case you have this version of CyberLink PowerDVD, is to upgrade to CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra instead of using the Standard, Max, or Deluxe versions.
If you are not using CyberLink PowerDVD 7 but you have no idea if your version supports Blu-ray disc, the best and easiest way to find out if your version supports Blu-ray is to find the Blu-ray disc logo on the PowerDVD main screen. This is the same if you want to check the program’s support for HD DVD.
The HD DVD logo is also visible on the main screen. To fix your problem, make sure CyberLink PowerDVD supports Blu-ray disc. If not, upgrade to the version that supports Blu-ray disc or use CyberLink PowerDVD 13 Ultra.
