This CRC error usually referred in hard disk and external devices for storage. It helps to check the data that is being stored in them. When it’s faulty you get the CRC error.
To solve this problem, follow the steps I am mentioning below. It will surely help you out.
In layman’s term, it simply means the application or game is already corrupted. The problem has to do with the status of the file or files. This may be caused by one or several of the files getting damaged or corrupted. If this error happens when you are about to load your game on your computer, it is possible that one or more of your game’s files is or are corrupted. This can usually be fixed by simply reinstalling the program which literally replaces all the files in its folder with the default ones. If you still have your game’s installer or your software’s setup file, simply reinstall them.
Uninstall first the affected application and then restart your system if necessary. After that, run the installer again to install the program. But if you still receive a CRC error even after reinstalling it, the problem may now be caused by your hard drive and it seems at this point, there is a portion in your hard disk that has bad spots or bad sectors which needs attention. You can fix it by running a disk utility on your computer and automatically marking these spots so it can’t be used again.
Unbelievable! Michelle Bang and Sharath Reddy, I heartily accepted all of your comments as well thanks. I am a game lover, so you realized when I saw this error message, I was at a loss, I did not understand what to do, also I got panicked. I have tried to solve this problem myself as well I have moved heaven and earth many websites on the internet for a reliable solution but their solution was hazy, I could not apply. But both of your comments were helpful, but Sharath your comment conquered my mind. You gave an exact detail on how to solve the issue. How nicely, you have indicated my problem, as well as according to your advice, uninstalling corrupted files then restarting my system, I saw with surprise that my problem has disappeared. I am very happy now, thanks Sharath Reddy for giving me your helping hand.
