Daily weekly workflow template in Sharepoint 2010

I have a task list associated with workflow.  I need to start daily weekly workflow and send mails daily, still the status of the task is equal to closed in sharepoint2010.  Is there a way to set up a workflow to send out an email with a daily weekly workflow template of activities that were completed for the day/week?  We do have views that show the day, and week and you can export them to excel, but I was hoping there was an access to do this automatically.  We get emails during the day about creating activities completed, but would like a summary at the end of the day/week.  Would this be at all possible? Any help would  be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Daily weekly workflow template in Sharepoint 2010

1. Permissions and Management settings options, click Workflow Settings link.

2. Enter a name in Workflow text box.

3. Click Task List drop-down list to choose a task list.

4. Click the History List drop-down list to choose a history list.

Select a Start option by clicking the appropriate check box.

For the workflow to start manually, click the check box Allow This Workflow to Be Manually Started by an Authenticated User with Edit Item Permissions.
