Database is not installed on MEP 2012

I am having an error with MEP 2012 stating that the database is not installed. I am running Windows Vista 32-Bit PC.

I need help please.

Database is not installed on MEP 2012

This occurs due to Antivirus and installation of your Revit MEP 2012 installation. Read/Write permission, Admin rights and Power Users affect your installations. Here are the steps:

1. Uninstall your previous installation, if any.

2. Check your antivirus if it is updated, if not update your antivirus and then fully scan it.

3. After updating and fully scanning your computer, Restart your computer.

4. When you computer turns on, "turn off" your antivirus. (Your antivirus prevents the full installation of your Revit MEP 2012.)

5. Install your Revit MEP 2012. (Make sure your installer is not corrupted.)

6. Restart your computer.

7. Check your antivirus if it is turned off turn it on.

8. Now you can start Revit MEP.

If you are installing Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012, make sure you meet all the requirements. And also when installing Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012, since the application is being provided in x86 and x64 versions, make sure you install the appropriate version for your operating system. For example, if you have a 32-bit Microsoft Windows, install the 32-bit Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012.

Likewise, when you have a 64-bit Microsoft Windows, install only the 64-bit Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012. Though 64-bit Microsoft Windows can install 32-bit applications by running them in 32-bit compatibility mode, in this case, to avoid any errors install only the 64-bit version. For the x86 Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012, it supports Windows XP [Professional or Home] Service Pack 3, Windows Vista [Enterprise, Business, Ultimate, or Home Premium] Service Pack 2 or higher, and Windows 7 [Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional, or Home Premium] all x86.

For x64 Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012, it supports Windows XP [Professional or Home] Service Pack 2 or higher, Windows Vista [Enterprise, Business, Ultimate, or Home Premium], and Windows 7 [Enterprise, Ultimate, Professional, or Home Premium] Service Pack 1 all x64. In your case, since you are running 32-bit Windows Vista, you should install x86 Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2012.
