What does this error message from webpage means and how can I fix it?

The list cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the following reasons:

-A datasheet component compatible with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation is not installed.
-Your Web browser does not support ActiveX controls.
-A component is not properly configured for 32-bit or 64-bit support.

A datasheet component compatible with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation is not installed

 

Dear user,

This error occurs if the 64-bit version Datasheet is not there for opening Office 2010. To overcome this problem, you have to install data connectivity System Driver of Office 200 for your Datasheet component. You can download it from the Microsoft download center. It will work for 64-bit version of Office 2010, if  you are having a 32-bit of  Internet browser.
