How can i change date setting of Windows Xp. Actually when i used excel and put any date by the format of Day-month-year the excel automatically changed it into Month-Day-Year. I checked this option in the excel but the format of date in excel was correct as per my need. I also observed that time in task bar was showing without AM and PM. How can i change setting of time and date as per my requirement.

Date and Time Setting in Windows XP
To change your time setting, go to the right side of your taskbar. Then on the extreme right below you would see the time, so now double click on the time, then the time setting bo will open. Now, on that setting box, on the right side there'll be a clock resemblance watch, so below that you'll see the time adjustment area. so adjust it and then left click once on am/pm, then select up or down on the side of am/pm. this will change the setting and show am/pm on your taskbar too.
Hope your problem has been solved by these solution.
Thanks.

Date and Time Setting in Windows XP
Windows XP time settings can be easily changed by double clicking on the date and time on the task tray. When the dialog appears, just move your cursor on the box below the analog clock. Press up and down arrow keys to change the values for hours, minutes, seconds and AM/PM. Then clicking Ok will apply the changes.
Now, to change the format of your time in general, Open your control panel and open the Regional and Language Options, under the General tab you can select the Customize button, and then on the Customized Regional Options under the Time tab, change your Time format based on your desired time format.
About the date and time format in Microsoft Excel you must learn the formatting options. Whatever format your system is, if you change the format in excel, your option will be followed.

Solve
Hello Mr. Georgewin
I read your problem. But I Think this is not a very critical problem. Now I try to give some workable solution for your problem. Please read the below solution and work step by step then I think you will cover up the problem.
Â
To change your time setting in windows XP, first you have to go to the right side of the taskbar then double click on the date and time then you see a dialog box. By pressing up and down on the arrow keys you can change the values of hours, minutes, seconds and AM/PM. Then click OK for applying the change.
Â
To change the date setting you have to open the control panel and open the Regional and language Option or ‘Change the format of number, date and time’. To change the date format you have to select the customize button and then Customized Regional Options under the date tab and change your desired date format.
Â
Now if you work on MS Excel you can put your date which format you like. So I hope your problem has been solved by these solutions.
