I am trying to use DB2 enterprise server edition in 32-bit Linux but I am getting an error which says “LIC1449N: The license was not installed due to a platform restriction.” How to solve this problem?

DB2 Enterprise Server Edition Not Working In 32-bit Linux

DB2 enterprise server edition cannot be used on 32-bit Linux OS as permanent license software. You can follow any of the below steps to solve your problem –

Method 1

Upgrade to 64-bit Linux.

Method 2

Use Workgroup Server Edition or Express Edition.

Method 3

Buy Developer’s Edition for 32-bit Linux. The certificate of this edition can be applied on top of the Server Edition.
